What Is CSR? Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a relatively new trend in business strategies. Lately, more and more companies and organisations have supported it. It is based on the idea that companies are closely connected to the community. The connection with the community is not only through its primary economic function. At the same time, the companies strongly influence and are influenced by the ecological and social sphere. No company can be prosperous in a non-working society and identically no society can be developed without strong economy. We, the members of CSR Consult, are determined to ensure that companies are prosperous for the society and its economy, all while also ensuring that they do not break the rules or ethical principles, pay taxes and give jobs to people. Nobody has a moral or any other right to demand something more from them. Just the companies have the possibility to overstep the set minimum. This way they can develop processes, which can help them to distinguish themselves from the competition and empower their competitive advantage. Processes with a positive impact on company and societal operations are represented as socially responsible. We emphasize the reality that a working relation between companies and society leads to a win-win effect. It is necessary to take CSR as a long-term strategy that should be integrated in the company as a whole.
